Fire at a care home - Kew

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a care home on Priory Road in Kew.

The laundry room on the first floor was completely destroyed by the blaze. Around ten people left from the ground floor before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1807 and the fire was under control by 1938. Fire crews from Richmond, Chiswick and Heston fire stations attended the incident.

The fire is believed to be accidental.
