Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire in a care home on Oldstead Road in Bromley.
Half of the first floor was damaged by the blaze. The fire also damaged a small part of the loft space.
The Brigade was called at 1520 and the fire was under control by 1635. Fire crews from Bromley, Beckenham, Lewisham, Forest Hill and Lee Green fire stations were at the scene. The fire is under investigation by Brigade officers and the Police.
