Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house boat alight at Taggs Island in Hampton.
One single storey house boat was destroyed by the fire and the external fascias of two neighbouring boats were damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1732 and the fire was under control by 1935. Fire crews from Richmond, Heston and Twickenham fire stations were at the scene.
The Brigade's fire investigation team believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
