Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a grass fire on Rainhan Road in Hornchurch
Around one hectare of grass and shrub land was damaged by the fire.
The Brigade were called at 1603 and the fire was under control at 1647. Crews from Hornchurch, Dagenham, Wennington and Romford attended the scene.
