House fire - Worcester Park

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Boscombe Road, Worcester Park.

The ground floor of the terraced house was destroyed by the fire. Most of the first floor and a small part of the loft space were also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1634 and the fire was under control at 1727. Fire crews from Sutton, Mitcham, New Malden, Wimbledon and Wallington fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
