Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of flats in Wheatlands, Hounslow this evening.
Around a quarter of a flat on the first floor was alight.
Five fire engines from stations including Heston, Southall, Feltham attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1623 and the fire was under control at 1749.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
