Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a pub on Montague Close in London Bridge.
A small part of an electrical intake board in the basement of the five-storey building was damaged by the fire. Around 65 people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1038 and the fire was under control by 1136. Fire crews from Dowgate, Dockhead, Whitechapel and Shoreditch fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
