Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a skip hire yard on Skip Lane, Harefield.
Approximately 20 tonnes of rubbish were damaged by fire. A mechanical shredder was also damaged by the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 2059 and the fire was under control at 2257. Fire crews from Ruislip, Hillingdon and Northolt fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
