Road traffic collision - West Croydon

Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision at West Croydon Bus Station in Station Road, Croydon.

A double decker bus collided with a car, single decker bus and bus shelter façade.

Two people left the car before the arrival of the Brigade and 20 people self evacuated the bus before firefighters arrived.

Crews helped make the scene safe and assisted colleagues from London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and Metropolitan Police Service.

The Brigade was called at 1220 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1359. Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit from Woodside and Croydon fire stations attended the scene.
