A small part of the basement below an office building in Finsbury Square in Islington EC2A was damaged by fire on Friday night.
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers attended the incident. Fire engines came from Shoreditch, Whitechapel, Dowgate, Bethnal Green, Islington and Soho fire stations.
The Brigade was called at 2231 and the fire was under control by 2340. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
