Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a flat in Paddington.
A small part of a flat on the first floor was damaged by fire. One man left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. A further 70 people were led to safety by firefighters.
The Brigade was called at 2213 and the fire was under control at 2244. Fire crews from Paddington, Euston and West Hampstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
