Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a sports ground in Forest Road in Hainault.
An agricultural shed is was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1631 and the fire was under control at 1947. Fire crews from Hainault, Ilford and Woodford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
