Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a flat in Tylney Road, Bromley.
Part of a flat on the third floor was damaged by fire. One man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews and one woman was treated at the scene for shock.
The Brigade was called at 1319 and the fire was under control at 1517. Fire crews from Bromley, Beckenham and Sidcup fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
