Firefighters were called to a fire in a bin room at a block of flats on Wellington Way in Bow, E3, yesterday afternoon.
21 firefighters and officers attended the incident from Millwall, Hackney, Shoreditch and Dockhead fire stations.
The Brigade was called at 12.30 and the fire was under control by 13.05.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
