Barnet - fire at disused pub

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a disused pub in Mount Pleasant, Barnet on Friday.

Parts of the ground floor and first floor and half of the roof of the building were damaged by fire. A caravan in the pub’s car park was also destroyed by the fire.

The Brigade was called at 2100 and the fire was under control at 0109 (Saturday, March 24). Fire crews from Barnet, Southgate, Finchley and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
