Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a block of flats in Ayley Croft, Enfield.
A small part of the communal area as well as a flat on the tenth floor were damaged by fire. Around 20 people left the block of flats before the arrival of the Brigade. Two adults and two children were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene and one child suffering smoke inhalation was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0828 and the fire was under control at 0951. Fire crews from Edmonton and Enfield fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
