A fire broke out in a nine storey office block on Fleet Street, EV4Y, this morning. A small part of a kitchen on the second floor was damaged by fire.
Five fire engines and around 25 firefighters and officers were called to the scene. Fire engines came from Dowgate, Soho, and Euston fire stations.
The Brigade was called at 0713 and the fire was under control by 0740.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
