Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a rubbish fire at a football pavilion in Walter Street, Bethnal Green.
A small part of ground floor changing rooms was damaged by the fire.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 13 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1706 and the fire was under control at 1819. Fire crews from Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, Shadwell and Homerton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
