Firefighters were called to reports of raised levels of carbon monoxide at a house on Bacon Lane, Edgware this afternoon.
Crews swept the house to check for any raised chemical levels and then ventilated the property. The Metropolitan Police Service confirmed that two men were found dead at the property.
Two fires engines and a fire and rescue unit from stations including Wembley, Stanmore and Mill Hill fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at 1339 and the incident was over for London Fire Brigade by 1633.
