Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a restaurant with flats above in King's Road, Chelsea.
Most of the restaurant's ventilation system was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1534 and the fire was under control at 1732. Fire crews from Chelsea, Battersea, Fulham, and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
