Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at an asphalt coating plant in Coomber Way, Croydon.
A filtration system within the plant was destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0846 and the fire was under control at 1143. Fire crews from Wallington, Croydon, Norbury and Woodside fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
