Firefighters were called to the smell of chemicals on Arwold Crescent, Eltham this afternoon.
Firefighters wearing gas tight suits swept the area to check for any elevated readings but found non. As a precaution a 25 metre cordon was set up while firefighters checked the area.
Two fire engines and a fire and rescue units from stations including Lee Green and Eltham where at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0950 and the incident was over by 1517.
