Slade Green - fire at derelict house and stables

House or flat fire

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a derelict house and stables in Moat Lane in Slade Green.

The house and stables were destroyed in the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 1842 and the fire was under control at 2342. Fire crews from Bexley, Plumstead, Sidcup, Eltham and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
