Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a basement flat on Prince of Wales Terrace in Kensington yesterday evening (Sunday 15 Octeber)
Fifteen people evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived, fortunately no injuries were reported.
A small part of a two roomed flat in a converted house was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1949 and the incident was over by 2049. Fire crews from Kensington, Chelsea and Hammersmith fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
