Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at an industrial estate in Boeing Way, Southall.
Two stacked freight containers were alight and the top one was badly damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1258 and the fire was under control at 1525. Fire crews from Southall, Hayes and Feltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
