Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on Nether Street in North Finchley this afternoon.
Half of a first floor flat and part of a roof void were damaged by fire in the two floored semi-detached house which has been converted into flats. One person left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 1211 and the fire was under control by 1414. Fire crews from Finchley, Barnet, Hendon and West Hampstead fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
