Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers tackled a fire in a house converted into flats on Carter Street in Kennington last night.
The fire badly damaged a third floor flat.
The Brigade was called at 1955 and the fire was under control by 2038. Fire crews from Lambeth, Peckham and Brixton fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
