Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house on Walled Garden Close in Beckenham yesterday evening (Friday 17 November).
Most of the roof of the three floored terraced house was damaged by fire. A small part of the roof of the neighbouring adjoined property was damaged by the blaze. Four cars were damaged by fallen debris.
Three people left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 1956 and the incident was over for us by 0132. Fire crews from Beckenham, Bromley, Woodside and Sidcup fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
