Firefighters were called to bushes alight outside the Imax cinema at the Waterloo roundabout this morning.
The Brigade's 999 control officers took a total of 54 calls to the visible blaze. Two fire engines from Lambeth fire station attended the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0948 and the fire was under control at 1004.
