Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a row of terraced houses in Shrubsall Close in Mottingham.
Part of the roof of one of the houses was damaged by fire. Five adults and one child left the property before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 1149 and the fire was under control at 1303. Fire crews from Eltham, Lee Green, Lewisham and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
