Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a shed in Green Lane in Chessington.
One timber shed was completely damaged by fire. A 15kg propane cylinder was removed by firefighters and was cooled to an ambient temperature.
The Brigade was called at 1557 and the fire was under control at 1707. Fire crews from Surbiton and Kingston fire stations attended the scene.
