Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house in Roundtable Road in Bromley.
Part of the ground floor of the property was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 0952 and the fire was under control at 1040. Fire crews from Bromley, Lee Green and Lewisham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and due to a fault in a boiler.
