Battersea - fire at a flat

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house converted into flats in Queenstown Road in Battersea.

Part of a first floor flat and flat roof was damaged by fire. A pile of rubbish was also damaged in the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 1404 and the fire was under control at 1517. Fire crews from Clapham, Battersea and Lambeth fire stations are at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
