Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a tower block on Ayley Croft in Enfield yesterday evening.
Some rubbish in the communal staircase on the seventh floor of the 11 storey block of flats caught fire.
The Brigade was called at 2006 and the incident was under control by 2058. Fire crews from Enfield and Edmonton fire stations attended the blaze.
