Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a hotel and restaurant in Edgware Road, W2 last night.
Part of the basement kitchen was damaged by fire. The ducting (extraction system) was completely damaged from basement to third floor level.
The Brigade was called at 2229 on Tuesday (March 14) and the fire was under control at 0001. Fire crews from Paddington, Euston and Soho fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
