Two fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on a double decker bus on Court Wood Lane in Croydon this afternoon.
The bus was badly damaged by the fire but fortunately no injuries were reported.
The Brigade was called at 1433 and the incident was over by 1516. Fire crews from New Addington and Croydon fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
