Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a shop and flats on Woodville Road in Thornton Heath this morning.
The fire damaged a number of solar panels and a decking area at the third floor level of the four storey building.
The Brigade was called at 1143 and the fire was under control by 1254. Crews from West Norwood and Norbury fire stations attended the incident.
