Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a hospital accommodation block on Netherton Grove, Chelsea this afternoon
The fire damaged a kitchen on the fourth floor of the five storey building and around 20 people were evacuated as a precaution.
The Brigade was called at 1519 and the fire was under control by 1605. Crews from Paddington, Fulham, Hammersmith and Clapham fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
