Six fire engines and around 35 firefighters and officers were called to a grass fire adjacent to The Close in Whetstone.
Half a hectare of shrubland was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1242 and the fire was under control by 1539. Fire crews from Barnet, Mill Hill, Finchley, Southgate and Hendon fire stations were at the scene.
