Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a block of flats on Buck Lane, Kingsbury in the early hours of this morning.
The fire damaged half of a seven-roomed flat on the first floor.
A man left the flat before the Brigade arrived. A further seven people left the block before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0215 and the fire was under control at 0354. Fire crews from Hendon and Stanmore fire stations attended. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the police and Brigade fire investigators.
