Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers were called to a flat fire in Oswald Stoll Mansions on Fulham Road in Fulham this evening.

Half of a three bedroomed flat on the first floor of the four floored block of flats was damaged by fire.  One man was rescued by fire crews wearing breathing apparatus.  He suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.  A further two people were also treated at the scene.

The Brigade was called at 1946 and the incident was over by 2054.  Fire crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington and Wandsworth fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
