Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire on Roedean Avenue in Enfield this afternoon.
The fire was noticed by a passer-by who saw smoke coming from the roof tiles. They alerted the residents and two adults and two children left the property, uninjured.
Part of the loft space was damaged by the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1527 and the fire was under control by 1614. Fire crews from Enfield and Tottenham fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
