Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a block of flats on High Street, Wealdstone last night.
The whole of a small wooden bin store at the front of the premises and a small section of the ground floor flat next to it was damaged by fire.
Thirty five people left the block before arrival of the Brigade and there are no reports of any injuries.
The crews were called at 2334 and the fire was under control at 0030. Fire crews from Northolt and Stanmore fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
