Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a shop in East Hill in Wandsworth this evening.
Part of the ground floor shop was damaged by fire and three people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2121 and the fire was under control at 2240. Fire crews from Tooting, Chelsea, Brixton, Lambeth and Clapham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
