Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers are tackling a fire at an oil storage refinery warehouse on Manorway in Erith.
Firefighters have rescued two male workers from the roof via an internal staircase. A further three men left the ground floor before the Brigade arrived.
A three storey building containing two oil refinery cylinders was damaged.
The Brigade was called at 1311 and the fire was under control by 1505. Fire crews from Erith, Bexley, Plumstead, East Greenwich and two fire engines from Kent were at the scene. The cause is under investigation.
