Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a restaurant and flats on Brockley Road in Crofton Park this morning.
The fire damaged part of the ground floor restaurant and part of a communal staircase between the building’s first and second floors.
The Brigade was called at 1056 and the fire was under control at 1150. Crews from New Cross, Lewisham, Forest Hill and Sidcup fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
