Firefighters were called to a fire in a flat on Rawstorne Street, Islington yesterday afternoon.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued a woman from a flat on the first floor and she was treated on scene for smoke inhalation from London Ambulance Service.
A small section of the five roomed flat was damaged in the fire.
Around ten firefighters and officers from stations included Shoreditch and Euston fire station attended the incident.
