Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a fire in a building under construction on Moundfield Road in Stoke Newington N16 yesterday morning (3 August)
The fire damaged a small part of the ground floor and one man was rescued from the property by crews wearing breathing apparatus.
The Brigade was called at 1038 and the fire was under control by 1130. Crews from Stoke Newington and Tottenham fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
