Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a semi detached house in Terrace Lane in Richmond.
Half of the first floor of the property was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1659 and the fire was under control at 1758. Fire crews from Richmond, Kingston and Twickenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
