Erith - derelict building fire

House or flat fire

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a derelict building in West Street in Erith.

Part of the ground and first floors and part of the roof of the building were damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 1943 and the fire was under control at 2218. Fire crews from Erith, Bexley and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
